Well, I'll never be going any where ever again for a haircut. After years of being disappointed with every other stylist, I found Rania!! As someone with long, curly hair who has had her share of cuts where the stylist took off way more than I wanted, I was always terrified of getting it cut (I know, I know, "it's just hair" but it's my hair and I like it). Rania talked to me about what I wanted and reassured me that she would keep it long. She told me exactly what she was doing every step of the way. It turned out even better than I expected (then again, my expectations were low considering how many terrible experiences I've had elsewhere). As someone who gets anxious about the thought of scissors near my hair, I can honestly say Rania has changed the game for me. I'm only ending it here because I'll sound redundant if I don't. Just give this salon your money.

I am a man, and this is a hair salon. There is a difference between a barber shop, and a hair salon. I take pride in my appearance, what can I say. After going to about 3 or 4 different hairstylists in the area, I've finally found one that I love. I had previously been to this salon before, and had a male stylist who apparently left, which is great because that's how I got Rania :). What can I really say other than she does a great job with the cut and style of my hair, it's a small and pleasant place to go, and they have some great haircare products there. I'm not going to pretend that it's cheap, but in life you get what you pay for in most instances.

I just moved here from Los Angeles and was dreading trying to find a new hair stylist, particularly since my LA stylist had been trained at a famous Beverly Hills salon. But the Yelp reviews persuaded me to try Alliage. Rania was superb! She understood what I wanted and was meticulous in her cutting and shaping. I couldn't be happier. I have been using the same stylist for 16 years but couldn't do the commute to DC anymore to see her. Tried this place on the recommendation of a friend for a looooong overdue trim/cut. My stylist was Rania. I told her I was looking for crown volume and not too much length loss. She gave me an amazing cut and delivered exactly what I was looking for. She gave me some valuable maintenance pointers too. I didn't do my color here but I think I will next time. It's expensive but you really do get what you pay for. When it is a fresh, new style, you don't want to skimp on quality. I am very happy with my cut!
